The Commission meets every other month. Deadlines above are the CIE's published filing dates: new-institution applications are due roughly five months before the meeting at which they are heard; all other applications (program additions, location changes, renewals requiring Commission action) roughly four months before. Confirm against the official FLDOE CIE calendar before filing.
A new-institution application filed today would be heard at the first 2027 meeting at the earliest — the July 1, 2026 deadline for November has passed. Use the runway: a complete, well-prepared CIE application typically takes about three months to assemble.
